The Ifedayo Youth Vanguard has commended the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, for his decision to align with a new political party, describing the move as timely, strategic, and in the best interest of the people of the state.


In a statement issued on Wednesday, the group noted that the Governor’s decision reflects the long-standing aspirations of the people of Osun for a more inclusive, people-driven, and progressive political direction. According to the group, the move resonates with the yearnings of the masses who continue to benefit from the Governor’s pro-people style of leadership.


The youth body further praised Governor Adeleke for his sustained delivery of good governance across key sectors of the state, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth development, and social welfare, noting that his developmental strides have further strengthened public confidence in his administration.


The Vanguard expressed strong confidence that the Governor’s movement to the Accord Party will attract a massive influx of supporters and progressive-minded citizens who believe in purposeful leadership and sustainable development. The group reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty and readiness to mobilize grassroots support for the Governor in his new political journey.


The group also urged the people of Osun State, particularly the youths, to remain steadfast, united, and peaceful in their continued support for the Governor as he sustains the drive toward greater growth, stability, and prosperity for the state.
