As Ademola Adeleke defeats APC again

As Ademola Adeleke defeats APC again

Dissecting the political intricacies in Osun State from panoramic prism of critical analysis, one can logically and safely conclude that members of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State are the greatest political illiterates ever emerged in the political history of the South West geo-political zone.

These political greenhorns failed to realize that the popularity of their party abysmally waned at the tail end of Rauf Aregbesola 's tenure in 2018, as a result of policy summersaults that impoverished the people of Osun the more and set the State on reverse gear. The fact that led to the "Remote Control" methodology by the Muhammadu Buhari's administration, which brought Adegboyega Oyetola to power in 2018.

Unfortunately, Oyetola, as the face of the party from November 27, 2018 possesses neither political sagacity nor native intelligence of a leader in the contemporary African setting, it seems he has learnt nothing and forgotten nothing from his Uncle's political school of thought despite his age-long affinity with the school.

The personality of Oyetola as well as the sycophancy of those political neophytes with sheer bravado that surrounded him reduced the popularity of the party by 40 per cent within 36 months. These are people with no moral decency, emotional intelligence and intellectual prowess to engage the political community of Osun and win their hearts to their side, they ignorantly behaved as if they were contesting councillorship election in 2022 and lost ignominiously without pity from all Nigerians.

Fast forward to the countdown to 2026 election, those who messed APC up in 2022 dubiously regrouped again and this time around, they are leaving in their foolish paradise by basking in the euphoria of Federal might to win election for them. They were whispering balderdash among themselves that President Bola Tinubu would manipulate the system to their advantage irrespective of the weakness of their preparation towards the poll.

They vehemently resisted the move by Governor Ademola Adeleke to join their party out of selfishness and parochial tendencies and even went ahead to ostracise political giants within their party and settled for a political embryo, Bola Oyebamiji, who have never contested any election in his entire life as their flag bearer. This is the man that doesn't understand the political arrangement of senatorial districts calling Osun West senatorial district 'Westorial". What a shame!

Those who are supporting this political weakling are the remnant of traditional political jobbers of Oyetola extraction, who are thinking from their anus and firmly standing logic in it's head.

Mark my words, even if APC combines the likes of Iyiola Omisore, Ajibola Bashir, Kunle Adegoke and Bola Oyebamiji together as one candidate to contest the August 8, 2026 election, that Ede politician will still win because as it stands, apart from handful of APC party faithful, no segment of Osun society supports APC. From artisans to peasants, market women and particularly civil servants, it's Ademola Adeleke or nobody.

So, presenting a political rookie like Oyebamiji is a walk over for Ademola Adeleke, and these APC nitwits should be educated that only an averagely popular candidate and party can enjoy electoral manipulation in whatever way not a PARIAH PARTY like APC in Osun State and colourless candidate like AMBO.

Finally, I congratulate Governor Ademola Jackson Adeleke, the man with unexplainable GRACE and unprecedented popularity, on his new party, the Accord Party. It's a known fact that the Governor just needs platform to fulfil constitutional requirement, he is indeed the real political party MAJORITY of Osun ELECTORATE are waiting for in on the ballot.

Dr. Solomon Tella, Ile-Ife.
