Nigeria at 65: Hon. (Prince) Adedayo Adewale Congratulates Nigerians on Independence.
Hon. (Prince) Adedayo Adewale, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA), to the Osun State Governor, on Transportation, has extended his warmest felicitations to the people of Nigeria on the occasion of the nation’s Independence anniversary.
In his goodwill message, he was quoted as saying, “Today, as we celebrate our freedom, we are reminded of the extraordinary sacrifices of our heroes past, whose courage, resilience, and vision paved the way for the sovereignty we now enjoy. Their unwavering commitment to the ideals of justice and liberty should continue to inspire us as a people to safeguard the values they fought for.”
He further stated, “Independence is not just a historical milestone but a living call to responsibility. It challenges us to reflect deeply on our journey as a nation and to renew our commitment to the principles of unity, peace, and development. Though we have faced daunting challenges over the years, our collective strength, diversity, and unyielding spirit remain the unshakable pillars on which the hope of a better Nigeria rests.”
Reflecting on the future, Prince Adewale was quoted as saying, “As we move forward, it is important that we strengthen the bonds that unite us, placing patriotism above partisanship, and service above self-interest. Our shared destiny as a people demands that we support leadership at all levels to deliver good governance, and that we all contribute our quota toward the building of a nation where justice, equity, and prosperity thrive.”
Extending his goodwill to the people of Ife Federal Constituency, he added, “To my dear constituents, I urge you to let the spirit of Independence be a guiding light in our collective aspirations. Let us build on our heritage of resilience and industry to chart a future that will be remembered for progress, harmony, and shared prosperity. Together, we can preserve our history, uphold our values, and shape a tomorrow worthy of generations yet unborn.”
He concluded his message with a prayerful note, saying, “On this auspicious occasion, I pray for peace, unity, and sustainable growth for our dear nation. May Nigeria continue to rise in dignity, honor, and greatness among the nations of the world.”
