Free Transportation To Ekiti State: A show Of Conpassion And Support under The Ire De For Imole Initiative

In a continued demonstration of people-centered governance and compassionate leadership, the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Transportation has successfully organized a Free Transportation Programme for Ife indigenes schooling in Ekiti State.

This thoughtful initiative, conducted under the *IRE DE 4 IMOLE  INITIATIVE*, aligns with the broader vision of His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State, who remains committed to easing the burdens of citizens and promoting youth welfare across the state.

The free transportation exercise, which recently concluded with great success, was designed to support students traveling back to their various campuses in Ekiti State for the new academic session.

It stands as a testament to Governor Adeleke’s dedication to youth empowerment and accessibility, ensuring that no student is left stranded or hindered by transportation challenges during this crucial period.

Speaking on the purpose of the programme, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Transportation, Hon. (Prince) Adedayo Adewale, emphasized that the gesture was not only to show solidarity with students but also to underscore the people-first philosophy of the Adeleke administration.

He noted that under the visionary leadership of Governor Adeleke, the transportation sector in Osun State has been strategically positioned to serve the needs of the people through innovation, inclusivity, and impactful social initiatives.

According to him, the *IRE DE 4 IMOLE  INITIATIVE* was conceptualized as a vehicle to deliver tangible benefits to citizens in diverse forms including education, mobility, welfare, and empowerment.

He further reiterated that the free transportation project was organized to complement the Governor’s developmental strides and to express gratitude for the overwhelming support of the people toward the governor’s second term bid.

The buses, fully sponsored and coordinated by the SSA’s office, conveyed students safely and comfortably to Ekiti State, covering all major routes from Ile-Ife and its environs.

The excitement and appreciation expressed by the beneficiaries highlighted the profound impact of the programme. Many of the students described the initiative as timely and inspiring, especially amid the current economic realities.

The gesture has also been widely commended by community leaders, youth groups, and parents who acknowledged the effort as a reflection of good governance and humane leadership.

They applauded Hon. (Prince) Adedayo Adewale for his proactive and selfless approach to public service, describing him as a worthy representative of Governor Adeleke’s Imole (light) vision.

In his closing remarks, Prince Adewale reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the continuous success of the Adeleke administration, assuring that the *IRE DE 4 IMOLE  INITIATIVE* would continue to bring impactful programmes that touch lives directly at the grassroots.

He also urged the students to remain good ambassadors of Ile-Ife and Osun State while focusing on academic excellence and moral discipline.

The just-concluded free transportation programme has once again proven that leadership, when anchored on compassion and service, can ignite hope and bridge social gaps. It not only provided practical support for students but also strengthened the bond between the government and the people.

As the light of Imole continues to shine brighter across Osun State, initiatives like this reflect the enduring legacy of care, inclusion, and empowerment championed by Governor Adeleke and his dedicated team.
