OSUN STATE GOVERNMENT PAYS DIVERTED 57 MONTHS SALARIES OF JUDICIARY STAFF



On humanitarian grounds, the Osun state government has paid the 57 months diverted salaries of some judiciary staff.


The payment already effected was in response to the harsh economic conditions of the affected staff of the state judiciary.


The measure was taken while the workers await the outcome of the ongoing investigation by the National Judicial Council.

I read a release by the Nigerian Bar Association purporting to be the position of the NBA regarding the Osun Chief Judge saga. I was wondering, after reading, whether the piece was actually issued in the name of the NBA or the personal opinion of an individual or a group of Lawyers.
