Osun Pseudo Masterminders needs to be checkmated for challenging the State Government on delivery of good Governance to the people of Osun State

A Sponsored pressure group being used by a particular political party popularly known as Osun Masterminds has gone beyond her roles by Challenging the State government of Osun State on the proposed Project that was planning to be funded with 100billion Naira in the next Fiscal year 2024.


You will recalled that the State government under the leadership of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has proposed to Funds the itemized Capital Projects which was focused on Construction of Bridge, Rehabilitation of roads, Construction of Flyovers, Health, Medical and Surgical Outreach across the Senatorial District of Osun State, Borehole in 332 wards of Osun State and Renovation of Schools, this was the beautiful plans of the State government which was declared opened to the people of Osun  State.


The State government also promised to fund the Projects even without borrowing from any Financial institutions within and outside Nigeria.


Osun Youth Concern Forum (OYCF) hereby urged the concern citizens of the State who believe in Good Governance to stand against the illegality of activities of Osun (Psuedo) Masterminds and also deeply investigate the source of the Organization and who is behind the scene of operation to oppose the  development of the State.


In his statement, the group Executive Director of Osun (Pseudo) Masterminds, Professor Wasiu Oyedokun-Alli during its October address on Monday in Osun; Stated that Osun State Government should clarify the Source of Funding and Explain why Ede is Receiving the Lion Share of the highlighted Projects'. This statement shows that the group is an enemy of Good Governance and also obvious that the Organization is being sponsored by hiding opposition in the State. 


The people of Osun State should also question Osun (Pseudo) Masterminds Director if Ede is not part of Osun State.


To make it clear to the people of Osun State here are the roles of the Pressure group anywhere in the world; The pressure groups are not Political by nature and they do not contest for Political power.


A pressure group is an Organization or the coming together of individuals with shared interests to change positively and constructively too, Government outlook. Also, we have sectional pressure groups and Promotional Pressure Groups. The Sectional Pressure Groups includes self-interest Organizations while the Promotional Pressure Groups focus on a particular cause and direct their activities towards fulfilling that cause which must be constructive critiscm in nature, for instance, Women's Rights and Moral Rights. The major role of the Pressure Groups  is to modify the Community positively and constructively too, as a whole by generating Positive Political Awareness and making the electorate Politically active. 


They act as a bridge between the electorate and the Government by making the Government more responsive to the needs of the governed.


They even act as an advisor to the Government and as at when needed.


We need to ask Osun masterminds where they got their own roles and functions that empowered the Organization to qualify as one of the Pressure Groups to challenge the Government on delivery of Good Governance to the people and the reason a particular town under the State territory should not be captured.


Osun Youth Concern Forum is dim-witted the activities of Osun Masterminds and we hereby called the attention of the General Public in the State, the Security Agencies and Code of Conduct to embark on an investigation in order to unveil those behind the Osun Masterminds Group Chaired by Professor Wasiu Oyedokun-Alli for Challenging the State Government not to deliver needed infrastructures to the Good People of Osun State and if not sponsored by veiled individuals against the Government in the State. 


The Youth Concern Forum in Osun State is deeply concerned about the development and Good Governance in Osun State and always supports the Government that delivers her Campaign promises. And we also urge the State Government under the administration of His Excellency; Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke to be focus and never stop working on his Political Agenda and also provide the needs of the people in the State and we shall continue to give him maximum Support as Osun State is concern.
