Funding Project without Borrowing is highly commendable By Comrade Samakin Abdul-Jeleel Abiodun



The Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency; Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has done it again by unveiling 100billion Naira proposed project to beautify the State and to attract more investors to the State.


To set the record straight, after 2022 Governorship Election the Former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola administration left huge amount of debt and Osun State was financially incapacitated and the current Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke inherited the debt incurred by the former administrations under the leadership of Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola and His APC cohorts. 


Mr Governor was not discouraged, he was focused and well determined to serve the good people of Osun State with his Political Agenda to rebuild and rejig the economy of Osun State innovatively and to prove that His tenure is not for frivolities but to serve the good people of Osun State with purposefully good governance.


Coming up with 100billion Naira Projects without borrowing, is highly innovative and distinctively creditable to Mr Governor, His Excellency; Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.


Osun State is very lucky to have such a personality as Her Governor and we appreciate Him for this wonderful service to humanity and Osun people at large. The doubting Thomas's in Osun State are presently retracting their stereotype ideology and mindset to give Kudos to the performing Governor and his incomparable governance in the anals of Osun State.


A government who invested on infrastructures in this manner, such government understand the rudiment of woeing and encouraging investors for productive investment.


We believe in the next few years, Osun State will be a hub for attraction of investors.


The following are the Summary of the proposed Target of 100 Billion Naira Infrastructure Fund: 


i. Construction of Six Flyovers,


ii. Renovation of Six Secondary Schools


iii. Quarterly Imole Medical and Surgical Outreach in Six State Hospitals


iv. Construction of Two Bridges


v. Dualization of Five Roads


vi. Construction and Rehabilitations of 1.5Km Length roads in 30 local government including one area Council


vii. Boreholes in all the 332 wards of Osun State.


The uniqueness of this plans was that, the Governor said he is not going to borrow to Fund the Project which was highly commendable and meritorious.


We hereby urge the good people of Osun State to continue to give maximum support to the administration of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for the development of the State.

Osun State: New Statutory Commission Members Sworn into Office OSOGBO - 13/11/2023 - Osunstate.gov.ng New members of state statutory commissions including those of the State Judicial Service Commission have been sworn into office by the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Prince Kola Adewusi. The swearing in followed the confirmation of the nominees as forwarded to the State Assembly by Governor Ademola Adeleke. OSOGBO - 16/11/2023 - Osunstate.gov.ng The Commissioner for Justice and   Attorney General of Osun State,Mr Wole Jimi-Bada has cleared Governor Ademola Adeleke of involvement in the stepping aside of Mrs Adepele Ojo, which was predicated on a petition that prompted her being ask to step aside from office.
