Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture Assures Improved  Quality Agricultural Produce.



Osun Commisioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Tola Faseru, has assured the  people of the State of improved quality agricultural produce and food security. 


The Commissioner who gave this assurance during an annual meeting with the staff of the Produce Services Department of the Ministry, explained  that Agriculture and Food Security, being one of Governor Ademola Adeleke's  5-point agenda, shall be followed rigorously.


He enjoined all members of staff to be up and doing in mentainning the quality of Agricultural Produce,stressing that Agriculture produce is the second foreign exchange earner that can  boost the State revenue.


The political head of the Ministry added that the  government is determined to organise regular training and retraining for the staff to enhance their capacities, promising that their limiting challenges will be tackled.




Speaking at the meeting,the Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture, Hon. Akanfe Atidade encouraged the staff to be disciplined in discharging their duties .


In their contributions the duo of the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mrs Adegbemisola Fayoyin and the Director Produce Services,  Mr. Funminiyi Adegbite, appreciated the administration of Governor Adeleke for the good work done within a shortest period of time, and solicited the Governor's assistance in the areas of provision of befitting offices as well as repairing damaged farm equipment.
