HON. IJIWOYE OLALEKAN CONGRATULATES HON. ABIMBOLA TAOFEEK AJILESORO ON ELECTION PETITION TRIBUNAL JUDGEMENT, IFE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.




The Caretaker Chairman of lfe Ooye LCDA, Hon. Ijiwoye Olalekan has congratulated Hon. Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro on the judgement made today at the tribunal seated in Osogbo.


He said that the verdict of the tribunal was a welcomed development, adding that the victory reinstated the will of the people of Ife Federal Constituency. He further stated, "regardless of all odds the people's votes during the last general elections were secured at the long run, he appreciated almighty God for the victory well deserved at the tribunal. 


He also commended the three-member panel of judges at the Osun State Election Petition Tribunal who unanimously declared him as the winner of the election after a thorough and detailed evaluation. 


I congratulate you on behalf of myself, lfe Ooye LCDA community and this victory was indeed worth celebrating considering the rigorous campaign process and the massive support during and after the campaign, the statement read. 


It will be recalled that the Osun State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo, Osun State has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Ajilesoro Taofeek Abimbola as the duly elected  House of Representative Member for Ife Federal Constituency, 10th National Assembly.
