Governor Adeleke Greets Orangun of Oke Ila, Oba (Dr.) Adedokun Abolarin, on his Birthday

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated the Orangun of Oke Ila, Oba (Dr.) Adedokun Omowumi Abolarin, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, eulogizing him for unparalleled dedication to peace and stability of the state and Nigeria at large.


Governor Adeleke who described Oba Abolarin as a fountain of inspiration for diligently working for the good of the people, noted in a congratulatory message signed by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, that the royal father is one of his greatest motivations in touching lives.


The Governor acknowledged Oba Abolarin's many impacts in the society, regaling his roles in promoting peace, inclusivity, stability, and mutual understanding in his domain, and the unceasing support for the economic growth of Osun state.


"I celebrate Kabiyesi, the Orangun of Oke Ila on the occasion of his birthday. Oba Abolarin is a revered voice not just in our state, but Nigeria as a whole, going by his depth of contributions," the Governor was quoted as saying in the message.


" I am a titled Chief of Oke Ila. Kabiyesi is also a very close family friend with decades of interaction and relationship. I cherish his intellectualism and his very deep philosophical outlook on humanity and governance 


"On this day, I join the multitude of your admirers in acknowledging your incredible leadership, and note your efforts in upholding our culture and traditions while not ruling out the place of modernity in effectively impacting subjects."


Governor Adeleke prayed for Oba Abolarin's good health and sound mind so as to continue to enjoy his wise counsel and unparalleled commitment to the growth and progress of our society.

Osun State: New Statutory Commission Members Sworn into Office OSOGBO - 13/11/2023 - Osunstate.gov.ng New members of state statutory commissions including those of the State Judicial Service Commission have been sworn into office by the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Prince Kola Adewusi. The swearing in followed the confirmation of the nominees as forwarded to the State Assembly by Governor Ademola Adeleke. OSOGBO - 16/11/2023 - Osunstate.gov.ng The Commissioner for Justice and   Attorney General of Osun State,Mr Wole Jimi-Bada has cleared Governor Ademola Adeleke of involvement in the stepping aside of Mrs Adepele Ojo, which was predicated on a petition that prompted her being ask to step aside from office. In a statement issued on Thursday evening, the Commissioner narrated that a strongly worded petition was sent to the State Judicial Service Commission and the State House of Assembly, which lead to the hearing and eventual resolution of the State House of Assembly to ask the  the Chief Judge to step aside.
