UNION OF TIPPER AND QUARRY EMPLOYERS OF NIGERIA,OSUN STATE CHAPTER (UTQEN) FAMILIARIZATION VISITS




Chairman Union of Tipper and Quarry Employers of Nigeria, Alhaji Lawal Omotosho and his entourage on a familiarization visit to ministry of transport, Osun State.


They were received by commissioner for Transport, Hon Sesan E. Oyedele, S.A on transport to Gov Ademola Adeleke, Hon Moshood Yakub, Ministry team, permanent secretary for ministry of Transport on Thursday, 24th August 2023.


At the visits, After the permanent secretary, Mr Oladepo Fashina welcomed the eminent visitor to the ministry, S.A on transport to Gov Adeleke express his delight of meeting with the union of Tipper and Quarry Employers of Nigeria.


In his words, Both the government and union need to form conjointly relationship inorder to secure life and properties of the citizen in the state


He also envisaged on important of organizing a training for all drivers of the union in order to ensure free and fare transportation in the state.


Reacting to the remarks earlier said by the special Adviser, the zonal chairman chapter of ife zone, Prince Adegoke thanks the commissioner and S.A for making the visit comes to reality. He said the familiarization visit between the union and the ministry of transport in Osun State is first of its kind.


The chairman of the union also spoke about some adversities the union has been dealing with alone without government Intervention. He pleaded with the Governor to come to their aid.


The commissioner reacting to the visitor, he thanked the union for the familiarization visit, he at the same time charged them to be law abiding and always drive safely.


In his words, The important of the training for the union includes proper use of safety equipment, adherence to speed limits, safe loading and unloading practices, regular vehicle inspections and lots more
