Egbedore Chairman, Sanya Okunade Holds Thanksgiving, Assures On Speedy Development





Hon Sanya Okunade, the newly sworn-in chairman of Egbedore Local Government (main council), was today at the First Baptist church Ara, for thanksgiving service for the privilege to serve the people of the local government, just as he pledged his commitment to the development of the local government, 


Hon Sanya, expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity he has to come back to home church for the thanksgiving after similar opportunity as supervisor for works in the same local government about 15 years ago. 


He assured leaders of the party in the local government, particularly, Representative Bamidele Salam who he described both in his last and the present assignment, as his destiny helper, not to betray the hope and trust invested in him.


Kabiyesi Alara of Ara, Oba Olubayo Adesola Windapo, Oyelade-Abidogun 1, while speaking at the church service also eulogized leaders of the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party for honoring the ancient town with the chairmanship seat of the main council despite all political odds. 


The highly revered monarch expressed confidence in the ability of Hon Sanya Okunade to live up to expectations of turning around fortunes of the local government for the good of all.


Notable PDP leaders in the local government, family members from Otun-Balogun of the town, friends, as well as political associates of the Ara born Egbedore Local Government helmsman, were all at the thanksgiving/dedication service.


Prayers were offered for a successful tenure of office for the chairman and his committee members.
