....Pledges more development to the Apomu community. 


In continuation of his thanksgiving, the Caretaker Chairman of Isokan Local Government, Alhaji Abdulazeez Adeniran Mao observed his Jumat service as the Chairman of Isokan Local Government at Central mosque, Oju Oja, Apomu.


The chairman was accompanied by the secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Dare Arabambi Pema, former PDP chairman, Alhaji Badiru Otolorin, Mr. Kamorudeen Afolabi, Alfa Aderibigbe Adejare, members caretaker committee, and the host of others.


While addressing the Muslim clerics, the chairman promised a donation of Five hundred thousand Naira for the support of the ongoing five million Naira projects in the mosque.


He appreciates the Muslim brethren and the good people of Apomu for the countless support he has received so far to serve in a different capacity at the Local Government.


He urged the people of Isokan Local Government to keep praying for him and the administration of Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke for the Governor to be able to fulfill his promises, particularly to the people of Apomu. He sought more collaboration for the progress and development of the town.


"It's my pleasure to be here today as the Chairman of Isokan Local Government and I want to thank you all for the support you have rendered so far for me, my family, and the People Democratic Party". 


"Like I said in my inaugural speech, the challenges before us are enormous, we are not unaware and we are not unprepared. We will not disappoint you. As our little contribution to the ongoing mosque project, I, on behalf of the Government donate the sum of the amount of five hundred thousand naira as support.


The progress of our local government is a collective responsibility, let us join hands in rewriting new political narration that would place Apomu and the local government the best among her peers. He noted.


Reacting to the donation, Naibi Imam, Alhaji Muibi Ishola on behalf of the chief Imam said, we are very happy to have someone like Alhaji Mao as the chairman of the Local Government this time the community is yarning for massive transformations. With your track records regarding the development of Apomu, we are very sure you will perform better. We appreciate your concern about coming to give this donation after our plea. This five hundred thousand will go a long way in the completion of the project, We assure you the money will be put to use. He concluded.
