Early today, Hon. Abiodun OJO the honorable commissioner for culture and tourism received the audience of PDP women leaders across the eleven (11) electoral wards of Ayedaade L.G led by the local government woman leader Mrs. Ogunfolaju at his Abeere government secretariat office.

The courtesy visit provided the women leaders the opportunity to discuss the need for female gender inclusiveness and welfare in government. They want their efforts and numbers in bringing the government onboard to be rewarded appropriately.

While thanking the women leaders for the visit, Hon. Abiodun reassured his guests and other female gender across the state of adequate representation in the government of Osun State under the leadership of H.E Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

He reiterated the importance of women in sustaining democracy and that, all hands must be on deck to ensure that adequate reward is given to them.

He said,

"It is my pleasure to have you all here today, I commend you for your steadfastness and the brave role you played in our 2022 gubernatorial and this year's general elections. You went all out to make sure that this government is put in place and I can assure you that this government will not stop rewarding the female gender for playing such an important role".

He further stated that the culture of the Yoruba race gives so much respect to the female gender, and that will never be tampered with under this administration.
