~𝑾𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒈𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒊𝒙 𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚. 


Today, the Tonkere Oluwatedo community went agog as the ancient town in Ayedaade Local Government received their son Hon. Abiodun Bankole OJO who was recently appointed the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism by the Governor of Osun State H.E Sen. Ademola Adeleke. 


In an eventful atmosphere that has the attendance of the newly shown Ayedaade L.G council caretaker Chairperson Hon. Adeniran Felicia, Vice Chairman Hon. Isafiade Adelekan, Secretary Hon. Ayobami Alabi, and other members of the Committee across the electoral wards of Ayedaade L.G. 

The Olutedo of Tonkere Oluewatedo, Oba Mathew Oluwole Aremu Akintoye (Alakinde l) commended the political will of Governor Ademola Adeleke to make sure that Osun State development is moving in the right pace noting that his community will continue to support his government. 



Venerable Akala and Chief Ajiboye in their remarks pleaded to the Osun State government to rescue the community from the bad state of the road that links Akoda to Tonkere to Edunabon in Ife North L.G of the state. They both spoke about the dead state of the electricity supply in the Tonkere community noting that the last time they had electricity was six 6 years ago. 


Hon. Abiodun while reacting to the warm reception given expressed joy at seeing the multitude that trooped out to welcome him. 

He assured them that the government of Governor Ademola Adeleke will address every issue mentioned promptly. 


Others at the event are the Olutedo Council of chiefs ably led by Chief Williams Dairo (Oosa) and Chief Orosola Adepiti (Balogun),  President and Secretary Tonkere Oluwatedo Community Venerable Abiodun Akala and Engineer Oyelakin Matthew, Traditional worshipers and masquerades
