Osun Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Hon. Abiodun OJO (FAFA) has today while featuring on a radio program tagged IMOLE OSUN on OSBC 104.5 Radio Ile-Awiye Oke-Bale announced the activities of the ongoing Osun Osogbo Festival and assured the people of Osun and the visiting tourists of a befitting festive period in a well-secured atmosphere. 


The commissioner also lauded the commitment and political will of Gov. Ademola Adeleke to promote our culture and heritage on all fronts. 



"Yes, I'm aware that every tourist both local and international expects something spectacular at this year's Osun Osogbo festival from the IMOLE drive administration being a responsive government from inception.

Go to Osun Grove as we speak, works are ongoing on almost every facility there and I can assure you all that we will have a splendid celebration. Our ministry with the help of H.E. Gov. Ademola Adeleke and the State government is putting everything necessary in place to revive our Culture and Tourism industry. We are well prepared on all fronts and the security agencies are fully ready as usual. 

I, therefore advise everyone to enjoy the festive season peacefully without causing any trouble". 


The commissioner thereafter with the management of the ministry led by the Permanent Secretary Mrs. Adebimpe Ogunlumade proceeded to the Osun Osogbo Grove for the second time within a week to inspect the work ongoing and the level of preparedness for Friday's grand finale of Osun Osogbo's festival.
