INEC Files Six-count Charge Against Suspended Adamawa REC

The Independent NationBREAKING: INEC Files Six-count Charge Against Suspended Adamawa RECal Electoral Commission (INEC) has filed a six-count charge against the suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Adamawa state, Hudu Yunusa-Ari.

The charges were filed at the high court in Yola, the state capital on Thursday, July 6.

INEC disclosed that its action came after it reviewed the case file from the police which established a prima facie case against Yunusa-Ari.

Yunusa-Ari had been arrested over his conduct during the governorship election in Adamawa.

However, he was granted administrative bail and asked to report to the headquarters of the NPF every weekday.
