 Hon.Eluwole Sunday Adedipo was born about Six Decades ago. He is a native of Ile-Ife from Ife Central Local Government of Osun State, Nigeria.


       #Educational Background:

Hon.Dipo Eluwole started his elementary education by attending St. Mark's Anglican Primary School,Ogunleye, Ile-Ife, between 1965 to 1972.


      In 1973,he proceeded to St.David's Secondary School,Lagere,Ile-Ife, where he spent three years before moving to CAC Commercial High School, Ilésa, in 1976.  He finished his Secondary School Education at the CAC Commercial High School Ilesa in 1980.


In 1984,he got admitted into the Oyo State College Of Education and graduated in 1987.


His passion for formal education propelled him to proceed to Obafemi Awolowo University (Then University of Ife) as he gained admission into the prestigious University in 1989.

This has motivated him to be part and parcel of some organizations where he had the honour and privilege to hold some leadership positions.

on the way forward and led a delegation to the House of Assembly to 

make a case for the creation of the Ife Central-West LCDA, while I donated the first set of 

stationeries to kick start the local government.

    #Philanthropic Activities:

Hon.Eluwole Sunday Adedipo has also touched many lives in is own little way that God has permitted him. One of such notable philanthropic gesture is the donation of PVC suspended ceiling to the tune of about Four Hundred and Eighty Thousand Naira (N480,000.00) to Orisun F.M. Radio 

Station, Oketase, Ile-Ife during the reconstruction of the Radio Station, when it was destroyed by fire in 2005.

    

    He also Donated the first set of stationeries to kick-start the Ife Central-West LCDA.


  #POLITICAL ACTIVITIES:

Hon.Eluwole Sunday Adedipo is a seasoned politician whose political landmark is second to none.


He started his partisan politics in the year 1980 when he became a registered 

member of the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN).


In 1990, he became the Secretary of Iremo Ward I under Social Democratic Party 

(SDP).


In 1992, he contested Election into the Federal House of Representative under the Defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP) and lost to Hon. John Olawole Fasogbon.


That same year, he contested for the post of State Secretary of Social Democratic 

Party (SDP) when the post was zoned to Ile-Ife, but he later stepped down for Mr. Albert Awofisayo.


In 1997, he contested for the post of Local Government Chairman under the 

Defunct Democratic Party of Nigeria (DPN). That Election was obviously rigged and that prompted him to proceed to the Election Petition Tribunal headed by Rtd. Justice Olayinka Ojutalayo. As a result of the Palace intervention, he withdrew the case from the Election Tribunal without any financial inducement or compensation.


In 1997, he contested against the Late Chief Omotosho Eluyemi of UNCP in the General 

Election to the Federal House of Representative, the said election was massively rigged in favour of Late Tosho Eluyemi, but General Abacha’s death aborted the then transition to civil rule.


In November, 1998, he contested Election into the Local Government Council during 

General Abdulsalam Abubaka transition to civil rule. He lost at the primary level to Hon. Kunle Adeniji.


In February 2016, he contested the bye-election to the State House of Assembly and won on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).


 *PREVIOUS JOB EXPERIENCE:*

Hon.Eluwole Sunday Adedipo has avalanche of work experiences which he has gathers all over the years.


He started as a School Teacher between 1980 – 1983 and  between 1987 – 1989.


He was a Supervisor, Osun State Mass Education Agency (Part Time); A UNDP 

Programme (1989 - 1998.) 


He was also Consular Assistant/Protocol Officer Embassy of Federal Republic of 

Nigeria, Beijing, P. R. China 2000 -2004.


In most recent time, he was a Member of the 6th Osun State House of Assembly Representing Ife Central 

State Constituency between 2016 – 2019.
