 Commissioners List: APC Reduced To Redundant Grumblers, As PDP Charges Opposition Party To Step Up Or Sink



The ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State has once again advised one of the opposition parties in the state, APC, to step up it's game in order to be accorded some level of seriousness, warning that pedestrian opposition being played by the party will sink it deeper into oblivion.


The PDP wondered why the opposition party relapses too rapidly in shreds and going so berserk, lazy and unproductive in conduct of it's responsibility to itself and it's wandering supporters, by expecting the government to spoon-feed it with profiles of commissioner nominees when such are already public documents or in the open.


A statement from the office of the executive Chairman of the PDP in Osogbo on Thursday berated the  APC for it's empty pettiness as it has failed to pick any hole or traceable misdemeanor in the records of all the eminent personalities nominated to serve the state as commissioners.


The state Governor and stakeholders in the ruling party, according to Hon Sunday Bisi, had made sure that all the Commissioner designates are household figures in the history of Osun State, whose personal and public service records cannot be controverted.


"Yes, the APC in Osun State for now is understandably too idle, but that must not drain the party off some modicum of common sense"


"While we maintain absolute confidence in all the Commissioner and Special Advisers designate as put forward by Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the APC should either come up with reasonable eyebrows on whoever they don't know by their history or record of service in the state before now or spare us unnecessary noise pollution and shut the hell up"


Amongst the nominees are former local government chairmen and high ranking government officials, whose records of performance in office remained indelible, even with the usurping and better forgotten years of APC in the state.


The nominees also consist of reputable professionals who have accepted to join hands with the Imole Rapid Developmental Agenda with commendable enthusiasm and with a view to reenacting the vision of the state's founding fathers, which is premised on progress and prosperity for all and sundry. Their profiles are definitely not hidden for any diligent critic.


"It is therefore unwise for the imploding APC to continue to dance on a spot of thoughtless ranting without melodious drums of measurable practicality or intuitive acumen", the PDP said.
