BREAKING: Osun Speaker emerges Caretaker Committee Member for Conference of Speakers

The Honourable Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, is attending the TECHNICAL SESSION/INDUCTION FOR SPEAKERS OF STATE HOUSES OF ASSEMBLY IN NIGERIA.

The session ongoing at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, is organised by the Strategic Partner (PERL- ECP) in partnership with Conference of Speakers of States’ Legislatures of Nigeria.

The opening remark of the event was delivered by the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, who is the Immediate Past Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.

At the session, the Osun Speaker, alongside five other State Assembly Speakers, have been inaugurated into a 6-man Caretaker Committee for the Conference of Speakers of States Legislatures in Nigeria.

The event is expected to foster deeper synergy between State Houses of Assembly and help them deliver on their mandates more efficiently.
